We are made to create; to take objects and change them, paint them, combine them, or reimagine them.  This allows authentic opportunities to strengthen both fine and gross motor skills, encourage problem solving and social interaction, enhance sensory input, and create a safe space for risk taking.   But it’s more than just that, creating is soul work. When we focus on the process and not the product; when we free our expectations from the bounds of someone else’s predetermined result, when we embrace our natural self-expression and allow ourselves to just create, we feed our souls.  So pick up a paint brush or tree branches, painters tape or flowers, pulleys, hammers, yarn,  anything and everything. Free your mind, feed your soul, and CREATE!
